Our organic bed & breakfast spa hotel near Lucerne.

Since Covid-19, we no longer rent out B&B rooms, but offer the furnished apartment only.

Feel welcomed in our country house situated within pleasant and peaceful surroundings.
From its slopes, this private residence I manage, commands a spectacular 180° view of lake Lucerne, with the alpine mountain range forming a panoramic background.
Just a few minutes walking distance away is the village of Meggen with its shops, fine restaurants, post office, bank, bus and train connection to the city of Lucerne.

We at Bed and Breakfast La Tortuga continually strive to provide you with outstanding accommodation above Lake Lucerne regarding comfort and an enjoyable service. There are some particulars which are important to us: beautiful decor, comfortable beds with organic bedding, fluffy organic terry towels, a shower/toilet in each room, fresh flowers, full breakfast with organic products, a spa area with an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, winter garden to relax in (conservatory), panoramic terrace with sun protection, where weather permitting, you can enjoy your breakfast. Also parking facilities in front of the house  - all conveniently located close to the tourist gem of Lucerne with its many cultural events, attractions and one of the most beautiful shopping havens in Switzerland.

Location

The Bed and Breakfast guesthouse La Tortuga is situated on a sunny hillside looking South, with gorgeous view to the surrounding landscape: lake and mountains offer an unforgettable scenery.
By car you reach the lake, the museum of Transport and the city of Lucerne within a few minutes. In 30 min. you get to the base staion of the cable cars to Mount Pilatus or Rigi.  
By car or train you get to Zurich, Basel or the capital Berne in 1 hour.

Peace and quiet:

We live in a nice and quiet residential area.

The rooms:

all 3 bed and breakfast double rooms and the apartment are decorated individually: with their maching colours they give you a feeling of intimacy and cosyness.
Comfortable beds with high quality organic bed linen and organic terry towels are for your well beeing.

Breakfast:

The breakfast with organic products is served in the breakfast room with the panoramic windows or on the terrace, if the weather allows it.

As a BnB with only 3 double rooms, managed by myself, I am happy to welcome you and to make your stay as pleasant as possible. 
Our Spa area with indoor pool, sauna and steam room is free for use.
